Oklahoma City Dodgers infielder Rob Segedin was named to the Pacific Coast League All-Star team for the Triple-A All-Star Game on July 13 in Charlotte.

Segedin has a .374 on-base percentage and .562 slugging percentage in 71 games with 16 doubles, seven triples (tied for the PCL lead) and 13 homers. His 146 total bases rank fifth in the PCL.

The 27-year-old Segedin was a Spring Training highlight for the Dodgers this year, with four homers and an .883 OPS while playing in a team-high 30 games.

Segedin did not play in Oklahoma City’s 7-3 victory Thursday at Nashville. Newly acquired infielder Cole Figueroa started at third and went 0 for 4. Catcher Jack Murphy had a career high in hits while going 4 for 4. Jose De Leon matched a season high with five innings, allowing one run while striking out six.

  • Hyun-Jin Ryu, whose most recent rehab start was cut short by rain, is taking the mound for Single-A Rancho Cucamonga tonight.
  • Rancho righty Tommy Bergjans pitched six shutout innings, allowing only one hit and one walk, with five strikeouts in a 5-4 Quakes victory.
  • Michael Boyle pitched six shutout innings with eight strikeouts for Single-A Great Lakes, though the Loons bullpen didn’t hold a 6-0 lead and lost, 7-6.
  • Keibert Ruiz, a catcher who doesn’t turn 18 for another 20 games, went 3 for 4 with a walk in an 11-1 Arizona Rookie League victory and now has a .486 on-base percentage.
