- The Dodgers signed Steven Jackson, who has 28 strikeouts and a 4.31 ERA in 54 1/3 career innings, to a minor-league contract, reports Matt Eddy of Baseball America. Jackson turns 29 Tuesday. Eddy also notes that Eric Krebs, one of two players the Dodgers acquired for Delwyn Young two years ago, has retired.
