AJ will always be one of the great stories in baseball for all the years he spent toiling in the minors. He persistancy finally paid off at 31, and today he is the catcher of choice for the greatest pitcher in the game, his buddy, Clayton Kershaw. Everything AJ does in our great game I applaud. He exemplifies Jim Valvano’s statement to “never give up”.
