Game times for the first two games of the National League Division Series at Dodger Stadium have been set.

Game 1 will begin at 6:45 p.m. Friday, and Game 2 will begin at 6:07 p.m. Saturday. TBS is televising the games.

Auto gates are scheduled to open three hours before the first pitch, with stadium entry gates to open 2 1/2 hours before first pitch.

What follows is more information about parking and alternative transportation for the NLDS …

If you’re driving to the game, you definitely want to purchase parking in advance at dodgers.com/parking. For the NLDS, parking is $15 if purchased in advance and $25 at the gate.

Premium parking is available in advance for $40 in advance and $60 at the gate.

Parking at Lots 13 and 14 on Stadium Way costs $10 in advance and $15 at the gate for the Division Series.

To avoid rush hour traffic and alleviate congestion, fans are encouraged to arrive early and carpool or make use of public transportation, such as the Dodger Stadium Express, which enjoys a dedicated bus lane on Sunset Boulevard from Union Station to Elysian Park Avenue.

The Dodger Stadium Express is free with a game ticket, and begins operation 90 minutes before the game and continues for 45 minutes after the game. Fans can also park at Union Station for $6 and take the Dodger Stadium Express free with a ticket, with dropoff points behind the pavilions and the Top Deck (Lot P).

South Bay fans can board the Dodger Express from the Harbor Gateway Transit Center (731 W. 182nd St., Gardena) located next to the 110 Freeway or two miles from where the 110 Freeway meets the 405.  Service from the South Bay starts two hours before game time and runs every 15 minutes thereafter.  South Bay stops include the following stations:  Slauson, Manchester, Harbor Freeway, Rosecrans and the Harbor Gateway Transit Center.

The Dodgers also encourage use of Metro buses on Sunset Blvd. as well as using the Gold Line in Chinatown.  Metro also will have the #2 and #4 buses available from the Red Line station in Hollywood that will operate to the Dodger Stadium entrance at Sunset Blvd. and Elysian Park Avenue.

Car service vehicles may enter Dodger Stadium through the Sunset Blvd. Gate A entrance (Sunset Blvd. and Elysian Park Avenue).  Vehicles will be issued a special colored dash placard and they will be able to drop off passengers inside Lot 12.  Once passengers are dropped off, car service vehicles will be required to exit through the Sunset Gate A.  After the game, car service vehicles will be permitted to enter Sunset Gate A to pick up passengers in Lot 12.

The Dodgers also have dedicated pedestrian walkways and bicycle lanes (and additional bicycle racks) leading into the entrances formerly designed for autos only.

  1. Any word yet on game time for game 3? Or is that going to be up in the air depending on how the AL series are going since that’s another day potentially all 4 series could be playing?

We’ll relay all game times as soon as they are announced, but yes, for now it’s too soon to know.

  2. It’s really too bad stadium express is only 90 minutes before the game. Should run the full three hours before the game. For a playoff game – fans want to get there EARLY!!

  3. Hmmm, don’t see the option to buy parking for Lot 13. Is that an oversight?

  4. When I posted the comment, the option to buy Lot 13 was not on the ticketing website. But I see that it’s there now. :D
