What happens when three old friends in crisis fall into an unexpected love triangle? In The Catch, Maya, Henry and Daniel embark upon an emotional journey that forces them to confront unresolved pain, present-day traumas and powerful desires, leading them to question the very meaning of love and fulfillment. The Catch tells a tale of ordinary people seeking the extraordinary – or, if that’s asking too much, some damn peace of mind.

Could hardly have asked for a better Opening Day, really.
I wouldn’t have believed Kershaw’s homer if I hadn’t seen it in real time and listened to Vin call it. And even then, I had to scrutinize the replay for confirmation.

I was there and I almost didn’t believe it. P.S. Great to have you back, Jon.

This is what Opening Day is supposed to be about. It also makes you smile that, on occasion at least, justice prevails.

Best line of the piece:
“Reporters, though they know better, asked Kershaw if the Opening Day win had any meaning. Kershaw, since he knows better, said that it didn’t.”
So glad you got such an extraordinary game to cover for this piece. This is an instant classic, one that will be recalled for the ages. And unlike last year, Vin was there to experience it.
Kershaw now on pace to go 35-0, 245Ks, 0.00 ERA, plus with 35 home runs, 35 RBIs, and .333 average. But for the RBIs, he could win the triple crown, the CY Young and the MVP.
Or as Greg Brady might have said, stop me before I get ahead of myself.
