Ken Gurnick of MLB.com and Dylan Hernandez of the Times are reporting that Clayton Kershaw’s father passed away.
It’s the second passing in the Dodger family in recent days, following the departure of Ned Colletti’s mother.

Terrible news. I’m sure the losses are hard on both of them, but being just a year older than Clayton I can’t imagine losing your dad so young. My thoughts are with them and their families.
