Last week, it was announced that Haselman has moved to manage Single-A Rancho Cucamonga in place of P.J. Forbes, who resigned for family reasons.
Dodgers who have played catcher and second or third base

Twelve players in Dodger history have played both catcher and second base. Ten have played catcher, second and third.
No one in Dodger history has played more than 10 games at catcher, second base and third base. Only Derrel Thomas has played even five games at all three positions, and Thomas was truly an emergency catcher.
Austin Barnes, who came to the Dodgers from Miami in December, has the chance to carve out a unique place with the franchise.

Bill Haselman, who managed the Dodgers’ Single-A Great Lakes affiliate in 2014, will move to manage Single-A Rancho Cucamonga in 2015, succeeding P.J. Forbes, who has resigned for family reasons.
Haselman returns to the California League, where he won a 2013 title with Class A Inland Empire (Angels).
The Dodgers have not yet announced the new manager for Great Lakes. Forbes has managed 11 seasons in the minors, the past two with the Dodgers.
“While we wish P.J. and his family all the best, we now look forward to welcoming Bill Haselman to Rancho Cucamonga,” Quakes vice president and general manager Grant Riddle said at the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes’ website. “We’re familiar with Bill from his earlier time in the league and we’re excited to get him in a Quakes’ jersey and welcome him to the Quakes’ family.”

In Baseball America’s new assessment of the Dodger farm system, the triumvirate of Corey Seager, Joc Pederson and Julio Urias rates up top, in that order, followed by top 2014 draft picks Grant Holmes and Alex Verdugo.
Jose De Leon has leaped to the No. 6 spot, outfielder Scott Schebler to No. 9 and catcher Julian Leon to No. 10, with pitchers Chris Anderson and Chris Reed returning from 2014’s list. (Here’s the 2013 list for reference as well.)
“Aside from the Cubs, the Dodgers’ top three prospects are as strong as any other organization’s in basebal,” writes BA’s Ben Badler. “After the vaunted trio, the Dodgers farm system is in a better place than it was a year ago because of the emergence of depth beyond them. Their top 2014 draft picks—first-round righthander Grant Holmes and outfielder Alex Verdugo—both had strong debuts and look like potential impact talents.”

The Dodgers’ annual Winter Development Camp, which gives select minor leaguers exposure to the Major League environment, gets underway in earnest at Dodger Stadium on Tuesday for the first of three days (though the invitees will gather tonight to watch the college football national championship game together).

The Dodgers will return all six of their minor-league field managers in 2014, though two of them will be switching teams.
The 2014 minor-league managers are Damon Berryhill (Triple-A Oklahoma City), Razor Shines (Double-A Tulsa), P.J. Forbes (Single-A Rancho Cucamonga), Bill Haselman (Single-A Great Lakes), John Shoemaker (Rookie-advanced Ogden) and Jack McDowell (Rookie-level AZL Dodgers). Last year, Shoemaker managed the AZL Dodgers and McDowell at Ogden.
With promotions throughout the system, many Dodger prospects will work with their coaches from 2014. More on the coaching staffs follows …

The Dodgers announced that they have invited 17 non-roster players to Spring Training in 2015, including infielder Erisbel Arruebarrena, who has cleared waivers and been outrighted to Triple-A Oklahoma City.

The Dodgers’ new Triple-A team in Oklahoma City has adopted the franchise’s nickname.
Frank Sanchez, a 16-year-old shortstop from San Cristobal, Dominican Republic and the nephew of Dodger third baseman Juan Uribe, is one of three international signings announced by the Dodgers today.
Patrick Guerrero, Franklin Taveras and Bob Engle were the signing scouts for Sanchez.
The other two signees are also 16: shortstop Edwin Reyes from Azua, Dominican Republic (signing scout: Taveras) and catcher/infielder Jerson Dometilia from Kenley Jansen’s hometown of Willemstad, Curacao (signing scouts: Rolando Chirino, Guerrero).

Dodger prospect Corey Seager has been named to the West Division roster for the Arizona Fall League Fall Stars Game, taking place at 5 p.m. Saturday.
Scouting and farm directors from every Major League organization, in consultation with Arizona Fall League director Steve Cobb and his baseball personnel staff, made the selections. The game will air on MLB Network and MLB.com.
Playing shortstop, the 20-year-old Seager has a .345 on-base percentage and .412 slugging percentage in 13 games.

The Oklahoma City RedHawks will succeed the Albuquerque Isotopes as the Dodgers’ Triple-A affiliate, the team has officially announced.
Previously affiliated with the Houston Astros, Oklahoma City plays in the American Northern Division of the Pacific Coast League. The Dodgers had been affiliated with Albuquerque for a total of of 44 years (1963-71 Double-A, 1972-2000 Triple-A and 2009-2014 Triple-A).
