The 96-page September 19-25 issue of the magazine has been dedicated to content celebrating the career of the beloved broadcaster. And on the final day of the season — Fan Appreciation Day — the first 50,000 ticketed fans will get an edition with the special commemorative cover seen above.

Kings Night at Dodger Stadium is Friday, and if you buy your ticket through the Kings Night package at dodgers.com/kings, you’ll get this exclusive Kings/Dodgers scarf.
In addition, former Kings Derek Armstrong and Daryl Evans will sign autographs for fans from 5:10 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the Right Field Plaza, where they will be joined by the Ice Crew and mascot Bailey.
The group will also be on the field for pregame ceremonies, with Kyle Clifford, Trevor Lewis, Brayden McNabb and Tyler Toffoli throwing out the ceremonial first pitch.

A ticket promotion for the Dodgers’ August 14 game against the Pirates has been linked to Corey Seager’s entry into Monday’s Home Run Derby.
Fans will be offered a $10 discount toward ticket purchases for the August 14 game — which also features a Magic Johnson Gnome giveaway (presented by Bank of America) for the first 40,000 fans — plus an additional $5 off for every round Seager advances (for a maximum of $25 off).
The ticket offer will launch at 8 p.m. Monday, after the Home Run Derby, and run through 5 p.m. Wednesday, while supplies last. You can find it at dodgers.com/seager.

The 1981 World Series tri-MVPs — Ron Cey, Pedro Guerrero and Steve Yeager will be saluted at the annual Dodgers’ Old-Timers Day on July 2.
In that Fall Classic, Cey went 7 for 20 with a homer and three walks, Guerrero 7 for 21 with a double, triple, two homers and two walks, and Yeager 4 for 14 with two homers.
Cey’s biggest night was Game 3, when he hit a three-run homer in the first inning and started a double play with a diving catch of a bunt in foul territory in the eighth, backing a 40-batter complete game by Fernando Valenzuela in a 5-4 victory.
Guerrero and Yeager hit back-to-back, eighth-inning home runs off Ron Guidry to make a 2-1 winner of Jerry Reuss and the Dodgers in Game 5. In the Series finale, Guerrero singled, homered and tripled in the Dodgers’ 9-2 romp, making him the first player in 61 years to have all three of those hits in a World Series game.

A reminder: LGBT Pride Night takes place Friday at Dodger Stadium, with numerous activities and guest appearances.
The fun starts at 5:10 p.m., when you can meet your friends at the Right Field Plaza bar, where Levy Restaurants will feature a Blue Pride-themed drink that will be available for purchase, while you dance to the sounds of DJ Adam.
On the Dodger Stadium field, members of Varsity Gay League will play a kickball game from approximately 5:45 p.m.-6:30 p.m. That’s followed by a special pregame ceremony that will include Robbie Rogers (first pitch), Michael Sam, Lance Bass and Esera Tuaolo (National Anthem).
Following the game, with Kenta Maeda scheduled to face the Atlanta Braves, sit on the field and enjoy Friday Night Fireworks (presented by Denny’s), featuring music by George Figares and DJ Blacklow.

Dodger Stadium’s fourth annual LGBT Night will take place June 3 when the Dodgers play Atlanta.
